Further Afield (short car journey)
The beaches that you pass on
the way to La Fustera are very
good, with many shops and restaurants, in particular on your right when
traveling from Calpe towards La Fustera, between the rock (Penon d'Ifach), and
Hotel Esmerlda, is Fosa playa (beach).

For seafood lovers a visit
to the port is a must (the other side of the rock from La Fustera), with an
abundance of restaurants, selling just caught fish at really keen prices. Next
to the port is a smaller, but equally nice beach.
A day trip by car

Calpe Rock
For the fairly active, it is possible to walk to the top of “The Rock” or Penon d’Ifach. Start early in the morning to avoid the heat of the day, wear stout shoes and take plenty of water, the views are stunning and well worth the effort.
The entrance to the park is near the port, and is well signposted.

For a day away from the beach, try Guadalest for fantastic views of the surrounding countryside.

After midnight the same place is used for a
terror disco
